One of the Saudi pioneers that we were honored to support her in attending and participating 12th World Congress on Public Health that was held in Istanbul- Turkey on April 27 - May 01, 2009 is Dr. Sulafa Al Qutub

Dr. Sulafa has presented her paper in the conference. Her presentation highlighted the followings:

• The use of health action model to train the nurses on planning health education in breastfeeding

• The benefit of this model in improve the nurses’ competencies in breastfeeding education as a consequence the breastfeeding compliance and maintenance would be improved

• Recommendation to strong public health policy and annual survey on breastfeeding compliance and maintenance rates.
